Halfway through the project, I am very happy with my project. I initially spent my time planning, sketching, and experimenting with coding in Unity. Then in the later half of my time, I created many of the assets I needed to create 3 levels alongside menus and other windows.

Going into this project, I was very aware that I would need to be cautious of time due to the time I would need to create the game itself. I am pleased that I have kept to this plan, as it leaves me the rest of the project to piece together the game and if possible, add further content.

I am particularly happy with the animations I have created, such as the sundial which is my version of a timer for the game. I spent time researching how I would recreate the shadow by studying a time lapse of a sundial. I feel that it is very effective.

If I were to start this project again, I would make the looped animation of Medusa more complex. This could be in making her hiss, or having her snakes raise menacingly. This is mostly because I feel that after the Thanatos chained up loop animation I raised my standards for creativity and execution. However the simplicity of her animation is in part due to the other elements in the level, verses the Thanatos level where he is the main feature due to the simple game mechanic.

In conclusion, I am pleased with my progress, and I look forward to completing my game.
